Scope:

Its scope spans all areas of modern Science, and seeks genuine interdisciplinarity by also including all areas of Humanities and Social Sciences. Each paper is assigned to one primary discipline and up to five associated disciplines. Each main discipline (e.g. physics) is divided into sub-disciplines (e.g. plasma physics, theoretical physics etc.) and authors are free to choose any of the main- or sub-disciplines as primary and associated disciplines.

Authors can use SO’s free collaboration tools to develop drafts with co-authors before submitting the manuscript. Only Scientific Members who are affiliated with an accredited university and have at least 5 publications assigned to their ORCID account may officially review an article at ScienceOpen.
