So your paper is published – now what?
23rd Jul 2014
Today I have an article published in Research Information magazine entitled ‘Authors should prepare for post-publication review‘ (my original title was ‘So your paper is published – now what?’). This Analysis & Opinion article discusses how post-publication peer review seems to be taking off and what that means for authors of scientific papers. I argue that in this new world, authors need to invest in ensuring their papers are correct, clear and complete before they go near a journal.
One way to do that is to get Cofactor to check your paper. Have a look at our editorial services page to see how we can help you. We offer an in-depth check and edit, a more rapid check (called the Cofactor Summary) or a check of just the title and abstract. Prices for these services are now up, together with special offers, and terms and conditions too. Our editors are highly experienced at editing and checking research papers before submission to journals.
The Research Information pages don’t have commenting enabled. If you have a comment on my article, do post it here. I’d love to hear what you think, whether you agree or disagree with my argument.
