General information ?

  • Published by: Springer Nature Limited
  • ISSN: 2041-1723
  • Last checked date: 03/2020
  • Scope: Nature Communications is an open access, multidisciplinary journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research in all areas of the biological, health, physical, chemical and Earth sciences. Papers published by the journal aim to represent important advances of significance to specialists within each field.
  • Additional free text: To increase the transparency of the peer review process and highlight our support of preprint servers and the role they play in the rapid dissemination of research findings, Nature Communications is trialling a new option for authors. From September 2017, authors can choose to include a link to a preprint of any paper of theirs that is being peer reviewed by the journal on a public list that is freely accessible without registration, provided the preprint has been deposited in a community-recognised preprint server.
